1. Open StreamX.exe
Click Install. The program verifies the download, installs components and creates a StreamX desktop shortcut. Follow Windows instructions if Ubuntu needs setup.

First setup downloads the engine and audio model. Internet access and several gigabytes of free space are needed. If Ubuntu/WSL is missing, Windows may ask for permission and a restart.
2. Add the extension once
Chrome or Edge: open Extensions, enable developer mode and choose Load unpacked. Select the folder below.
%LOCALAPPDATA%\StreamX\app\browsers\chromiumFirefox: in about:debugging, choose Load Temporary Add-on, then browsers/firefox/manifest.json in the same StreamX folder. This Firefox setup must be repeated after restarting the browser.
If browser pairing is requested, open StreamX options, click Connecter ce navigateur and confirm on the local page.
3. Launch StreamX and watch Twitch
After setup, the shortcut starts the engine. Open any channel on Twitch: controls appear automatically. A click may be required to allow audio. Your mix follows channel changes.
If you turned StreamX off with its close button or toolbar icon, turn it back on using the extension icon. Your choice is remembered.
What is still in beta
Extension setup is manual until browser-store publication. The Windows program is not yet signed. Validation was performed on a PC already equipped with WSL; a full installation on a clean Windows machine still needs testing.
Audio results and smoothness depend on the stream and your CPU. Twitch chat stays live and may lead the processed video. Mac/Safari is on hold for now. Mobile and TV are planned for later.
